DuartePino, the nation's first advisory firm focused on helping local companies optimize their marketing plans and enter new international markets, formally launched its operations this month. This new firm emerged from the opportunity to connect Puerto Rican companies to the global economy. As part of their launch, DuartePino will annually select from 5 to 10 startups with global potential and work with them in return for equity.
DuartePino specializes in helping established companies, startups and global newcomers optimize their marketing plans for growth. Its main offering includes Fractional CMOs to support for companies’ internal teams. Fractional CMOs are a cost-effective means of having expert marketing leadership without the full-time overhead costs associated with hiring a top-level executive, and a perfect solution for locally owned companies looking for senior talent. The advisors work as an external member of the company’s executive management team, available for strategic projects and coaching services.
Antonio Duarte, who, before founding DuartePino, served as Deputy Secretary of Economic Development, Vice President of Marketing Strategy for Popular, and Business Consultant for HSBC Américas, leads the Firm. Its team past experience includes working for the Banco Popular, Hugo Neo Américas, Better Ideas, and receiving multiple international awards including Cannes Lions’ Gran Prix, Gran Clio, el Ojo de Iberoamérica, SME’s Excellence in Marketing Award, ARPPR’s Excel Award, among others. DuartePino already have strategic alliances with partners in mainland US, Latin America and Spain to enable the internationalization plans.
